I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully completed the "English for Career Development" MOOC course offered by the U.S. Embassy. I am grateful to the Edward M. Kennedy (EMK) Center, U.S. Embassy Dhaka, and the esteemed educators Razoun Siddiky Tohin sir (USA Adviser at EMK Center) and Nahid Ferdous Bhuiyan sir (National Academy for Educational Management) for their guidance throughout the course.

This course, developed by the University of Pennsylvania and adapted by FHI 360 for the Online Professional English Network (OPEN), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, has been an invaluable learning experience. It has equipped me with essential skills and knowledge for career development, enhancing my English language proficiency and communication skills.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all my fellow teachers who participated in this course alongside me. Your support and collaboration made this learning journey even more enriching.

I am excited to apply the knowledge and skills gained from this course to my teaching practice. The practical insights and resources provided will greatly benefit my students and contribute to their English language and career development.

My name is MD.SAID AL SABA, and I am currently residing in Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh to pursue my studies. As a chemistry student, I am completing my Graduation at the Department of Chemistry at Govt Titumir College affiliated University of Dhaka (DU). I also completed my Research Course with Research Assistantship (RA) at the Accident Research Institute (ARI), Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). In addition, I have been a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the Teacher Training Course (TTC-2) and a piloting project "Community School" at Jahangirnagar University (JU). My current goal is to Research Science Education Labs to Develop our Education system. Apart from my academic achievements, I am an active member of the International Younger Chemistry Network (IYCN), an organization of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), an Affiliated Member of Royal Society of Chemistry, and a Catalyst of ChemFusion. I work as a personal home tutor for nearby students and occasionally work with reputed Govt. and International NGO projects such as Rotaract, Rotary, Lions, and LEO. I completed several joint Projects and workshops with various organizations such as SOS Children Village, Save the Children Serac Bangladesh, ActionAid, WaterAid, US Embassy, Global Platform Bangladesh, SSRC, CMED, EMK, World Bank, a2i, Best AID, BUET, UKAID, USAID, FAO, UNDP, UNFPA, BRAC & ICDDR, B. I also volunteer for several International and National organizations, and I love to work for people. I had the opportunity to volunteer at a covid-19 lockdown situation where we helped Verified and Potential Virus fighters, health services, social awareness, food, medicine, oxygen support, telemedicine service, and provided referrals for covid19 tests and ICU for Govt. hospitals. My passion for helping others extends to supporting the helpless and homeless, street children with their families. I volunteer with local organizations and provide educational support and food safety. I also enjoy volunteering for environmental causes and special occasions like EID. In summary, I believe in honesty and hard work and am always looking for opportunities to make a positive impact on the world. When I have free time, I enjoy cooking my favorite food items.
