Academics and researchers from home and abroad participated in the conference.
In the inaugural ceremony, Bangladesh Accreditation Council chairman professor Mesbahuddin Ahmed was present as chief guest, while BUET vice-chancellor professor Satya Prasad Majumder, professor AKM Akther Hossain, BCSIR chairman and BCA general secretary professor Aftab Ali Shaikh and professor M Mizanur Rahman were present.
BCA president professor Altaf Hussain chaired the event.
